Jenny Barrow has been working in the field of Diversity & Inclusion for nearly 20 years. Throughout her career, she has worked with senior leaders, managers and teams to equip them to build inclusive cultures, ultimately leading to improved organisational performance.
Jenny's strengths lie in senior stakeholder management, working with executives to build inclusion into their leadership and operational cultures. She is a highly experienced leader in designing and delivering diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) strategies with an action-oriented, outcomes focused approach. She is also involved in producing several DEI-related benchmarks across the finance, maritime and engineering sectors.
Jenny's clients include a wide range of financial services, insurance, maritime and media firms as well as public sector, academia and not-for-profit organisations.
Work includes developing DEI strategies, group facilitation, public speaking, inclusive leadership and management development, DEI diagnosis to help organisations assess the DEI opportunities open to them, as well as research and writing.

Jenny was Head of Corporate Responsibility for the UK's Financial Conduct Authority, a role she held for over 4 years. She developed and implemented the regulator's DEI strategy which included responsibility for discharging the FCA's duties under the Public Sector Equality Duty.
Previously, Jenny spearheaded Diversity & Inclusion at the global law firm Baker McKenzie.
Jenny is a member of Fair By Design's Advisory Group, a movement dedicated to ending the poverty premium and is the DEI advisor to the Shipping & Maritime sector's Diversity Study Group. She is also a Trustee of the Alternative Learning Trust, a multi-academy trust for Pupil Referral Units (PRUs), Alternative Provision, and specialist settings.
